Melanoma Unit

The Melanoma Unit, developed in 1981, is a centre for excellence for diagnosis, treatment and management of primary and secondary melanoma. The unit participates in international clinical trials in the metastatic, adjuvant and surgical settings. The Hunter Melanoma Foundation, was developed in 1986 to provide moral and financial support to the Newcastle Melanoma Unit.
