Dr Lisa Mackenzie PhD MClinPsych, MAPS Senior Research Fellow

Dr Lisa Mackenzie joined the Calvary Mater Newcastle Department of Palliative Care as Senior Research Fellow in 2023. Her role involves providing clinically embedded research mentorship across all stages of research conceptualisation and development, grant writing, project implementation and dissemination of findings.

Lisa holds a Conjoint Lecturer appointment with the University of Newcastle and is Mid-career researcher representative on the Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI) Equity in Health and Wellbeing Program. She has over ten years of experience in health services research, including research higher degree supervision in public health and behavioural science.
